Step 1 Filming for Jabbawockeez / 3Muskeez

 SO I WAS ABLE TO GET THE OPPORTUNITY TO RECORD FOR JABBAWOCKEEZ / 3MUSKEEZ FOR THEIR WORKSHOP AT STEP 1 DANCE STUDIO. 

THIS WASN'T MY FIRST OPPORTUNITY WORKING WITH THEM THOUGH A FEW MONTHS BEFORE I WAS FLOWN OUT TO VEGAS TO RECORD ICE CUBE'S EVENT THE BIG 3. I WAS ABLE TO MEET SO MANY NEW FACES. TO BE HONEST THOUGH I WASN'T PROUND OF THAT VIDEO AT ALL. I HAD NO STABILIZER AND THE LIGHT WAS PRETTY OFF. I WAS REALLY SAD ON THE OUTCOME OF THE VIDEO.

SO I WENT INTO THIS TRYING TO TAKE IT EVEN MORE SERIOUS BECAUSE I HAD ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY TO RECORD. 

More Grateful.

SO MY AUNT DROVE INTO TOWN AND WANTED TO HANG OUT WITH THE WHOLE FMAILY. WE ENDED UP GOING DOWNTOWN AND GRABBING SOME BOMB BREAD. AFTERWARDS WE ENDED UP DRIVING DOWN DEEP WHERE MY DAD'S FAMILY GREW UP AND LIVED WAY BEFORE I WAS BORN.

MY DAD AND AUNT (SISTER) WERE TELLING US STORIES ABOUT GROWING UP ON THE FARM THEY WERE FROM. SO THEY LIVED IN A RUAL AREA, WHICH REALLY TRIPPED ME OUT COMPARED TO HOW WHERE WE CURRENTLY LIVE.

IT MADE ME GRATEFUL FOR WHAT I HAVE AND WEHRE WE ARE TODAY. THEY LIVED ON A FARM...WORKING FOR SOMEONE ELSE. SO BASICALLY LONG STORY SHORT THERE WAS A NICE BIG HOUSE FOR THE OWNERS, POOL AND ALL. ON THE OTHER SIDE MY DAD'S FAMILY LIVED IN THE BACK OF THAT HOUSE WORKING FOR THEM.

RAGE, IN THE MOMENT

Half of us say crazy things when we’re in the moment, we dont know what we’re talking about. We barely know what we want. Things only sound right based on how we feel and usually what we feel is temporary. We’re indecisive, confused, and stupid. We only get wiser when you slow down to listen to what the other person is saying and even what you are saying yourself. We all need to do that to get a better understanding of each persons opinion.

A little update...

Kicking it with the homies, telling stories and making memories. That's what I get out of this. This is what I like. Nights or days like these where you can kick it and do whatever that comes to mind or do whatever is planned out.

 These are the best pictures that could've been taken but they're memories. As long as you have 

something physically or mentally to remember, is dope. I've been busy everyday of the week either doing work to keep myself busy or kicking it and working out. 

I also have been phone-less so I haven't been on social media besides twitter and the occasional Facebook update for my family. My ideal lifestyle right now is to put my time towards other things besides social media and the internet. Things such as watching YouTube videos all day and consuming time scrolling through news feeds.

LIKE OUR PARENTS TIME

I don't know if it's only me that feels this way, but I feel like I was born in the wrong generation. I envy my parents generation where kids my age would kick it everyday and there was no thing like social media. It was much more simpler time where you'd kick it with your homies but at the same time it wasn't because you didn't really have phones and social media to get a hold of each other.

Leaving Indefinitely.

I'm going to be leaving all social media platforms indefinitely, there is no time frame for this. I apologize for the absence. I need to take some time off to reflect on a better path on what I want to pursue right now and in the near future.

I WAS COMFORTABLE IN MY OWN SKIN. YOU'VE HEARD THE SAYING TO LOVE YOURSELF BEFORE YOU CAN LOVE OTHERS RIGHT? IT'S THE SAME CONCEPT...YOU CAN'T BE COOL UNTIL YOU THINK DEEP DOWN THAT YOU'RE COOL YOURSELF. THIS CAN BE A DANGEROUS THING THOUGH. DON'T LET IT GET TO YOUR HEAD AND WALK AROUND THINKING YOU'RE THE SHIT THOUGH. ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS, SO BE SUBTLE DON'T CALL YOURSELF COOL. LET OTHERS SPEAK FOR YOU. YOU CAN'T BRAG ABOUT YOURSELF AND EXPECT TO BE ON THIS PEDESTAL.
